DURBAN’S Stable Theatre will be hosting a special Valentine’s Day Celebration today from 11 am till late.
This programme includes maskandi, hip-hop, dance, poetry and Isicathamiya. The entrance is free and all are welcome.
Stable Theatre manager Thanduxolo Zulu says: “Valentine’s Day is an occasion for folk to share quality time with their loved ones.
“We are throwing open our doors to our patrons, to come and spend a good time with us on Thursday.
“We will have an exciting line-up of entertainment going, and all are welcome to be part of the great vibe in our theatre.”
Performers include: the poets Nkululeko “Page” Ngwenya and Thando Ngcobo; hip-hop artist Tevin Kunene; contemporary dancers Thandanani Qwabe and Zonke; the Isicathamiya group, Zulu Messengers; and traditional artists Thekwini Sisters. For more information, contact 031 309 2513.
