WE have been residents in Mills Circle for the past 28 years and have never seen it in such a mess. This used to always be one of the prettiest streets in Pietermaritzburg, especially when the Pride of India trees are in full bloom.

Now we have to contend not only with demolished houses, but also the overgrown verges in front of the proposed development.

It is time for the new property owner to sort out his mess.
