The KZN Dolphins are in Port Elizabeth for the penultimate round of the SuperSport Series competition.

Having endured a tough season, the KZN outfit will be gunning for a good finish to their domestic season against a vastly weakened Warriors outfit.

The home side have been heavily hit by injuries and national call-ups in the bowling ranks. They are missing six frontline bowlers in Wayne Parnell, Johan Botha and Robin Peterson (Proteas), and Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Sinethemba Mjekula and Lyall Meyer (injured) and it will take a huge effort by them to dismiss the Dolphins twice.

That being said, the Warriors have a formidable batting line-up, which also welcomes back the red-hot Ashwell Prince, who has amassed over 400 runs in his last two innings.

The young Dolphins attack will be without several of its regulars, with Yusuf Abdulla and Johann Louw away on national duty, while pace spearhead Quinton Friend is likely to be out for the rest of the season through injury.

WARRIORS: Jon-Jon Smuts, Craig Thyssen, Arno Jacobs, Zander de Bruyn, Ashwell Prince, Davy Jacobs (capt), Riaan Jeggels, Justin Kreusch, Darryl Brown, Andrew Birch, Mario Olivier, Rusty Theron.

DOLPHINS: Ahmed Amla (capt), Imraan Khan, Cameron Delport, David Miller, Jon Kent, HD Ackerman, Daryn Smit, Kyle Abbott, Vyash Gobind, Ugasen Govender, Saidi Mlongo, Craig Woods.
